This evangelistic assignment that we received can be compared to war. The most important element in war is the supply line. An army travels as a long line of supplies. It’s personnel have to move mail, medicine, food, and ammunition. What often happens is that a supply line overlaps with another principle of war called mobility. What makes an army fast is not the soldiers’ mobility, but the supplier’s mobility. America is not the most powerful army in the world because of our high tech weapons and equipment, but because we are the most mobilizing army in the history of warfare. In a matter of days we can move a half-million soldiers and cargo and build an entire city in the deserts of the Middle East. This is what evangelistic ministries must learn to do. This is what we are endeavoring to do better.”
