"Last week we were in a village and after ministering in drama and then preaching, we prayed for the sick. God confirmed His Word, people were healed, and the following day more people came to be healed until they made us spend five more days in this village doing follow-up. We went from house to house sharing the Word and healing the people in the name of Jesus. We prayed for one boy who had chest pain and a hernia. The following day his mother ran to tell us that he was healed, and to request prayer for herself. We prayed for her and asked her to remove her gods that she had tied to her wrist (articles of witchcraft). After removing them we burned them. We then led her to Christ and she was set free. This woman told us that for two years she was going to a witchdoctor in Mali, and he gave her the articles of witchcraft to tie on her wrist. And yet she never got healed. When we prayed for her she fell under the power of God and was instantly healed and delivered. "We also prayed for deaf people, and there was healing the very day we prayed.
There was another woman who was a witchdoctor and people use to come to her for prayers and healing. She came in contact with the power of Jesus and fell out. This woman was also healed and received Jesus as her Savior. We prayed for many different types of sicknesses and God healed them all."

"We prayed for a lady who had difficulty walking. She called me later to tell me that God healed her and she has not been the same. Another thing happened the other day. I had the opportunity to meet the president of Guinea Bissau and lay hands on him and pray for him in the name of Jesus. We went into a special room to eat with the generals, police officers, and president. This was a great favor and blessing to me from God. We are also starting construction on the church in Biombo, but the chief of the village is having some persecution from the villagers. They are threatening to burn down his house if he allows the church to be built because they are afraid the chief will throw his idols into the river because of the healing he received."
