After months of indulging in praying in other tongues with some fasting such a holy love came into my heart for ministers. I found myself desiring their success more than mine.
One friend of mine said to me, “Man, I really want to move in miracle power!” My heart agreed with his desire so others could be helped and blessed, and with all sincerity free of any hypocrisy I told him I’d pray that way for him.
When you desire the success of others more than your own, you’ve got something. It’s the beautiful heart and love of Jesus that desires to lift the other one up and push them ahead.
If this God kind of love filled every minister instead of every minister seeking their own, revival would break out all across this land. The Church of living liquid LOVE would then manifest Christ and minister in the fulness of God. All would know that we are His. She would then cease to become a sounding brass and a clanging cymbal (1 Cor. 13:1).
“LOVE refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. LOVE does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance.” (1 Corinthians 13:4)
“Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests.”(Philippians 2:3-4)
“Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing LOVE of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his LOVE! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless LOVE beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant LOVE pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!” (Ephesians 3:18-19)
“So I give you now a new commandment: LOVE each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same LOVE I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.” (John 13:34-35)
Oh beloved, meditate on this love until your progress is evident to all, and you become a living epistle read of all men.
