WIGGLESWORTH PROPHECY
In 1939 just before WWII broke out, Smith Wigglesworth told a young Lester Sumrall that he saw three future waves representing three future moves of God. The first wave he saw was the healing revival of the 1940s and ‘50s. The second wave he saw was called the “Charismatic renewal”, which crossed denominational lines when multitudes received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Then he saw a third wave, and this is what I want you to see here. That third wave was a wave of teaching on faith and healing that was labeled the “word of faith” movement. Now think about those three waves and what the Lord was trying to do on the earth through His body.
HEALING, THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND FAITH
Healing, the Holy Spirit, and faith were the main elements of those three waves. It is very significant that Dad Hagin was involved in each one, and spent the latter part of his life conducting Holy Ghost meetings and reemphasizing the subject of faith again. I believe it is because the body of Christ needs to be put in remembrance of the light that was given to a past generation and embrace it and pass it on, because there is a new generation coming up that does not know or understand these things. They don’t really know what true Biblical faith is and how to walk in it, and they are not familiar with the demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and the power of God.
BE A WISE HOUSEHOLDER
What the Lord wants in this day are good and wise householders that know how to take from the old and bring it into the new. You see, we are to build upon those three waves and moves of God, but so often the body of Christ fails to receive these past moves of God and the light that God was bringing to the body of Christ in these areas and carry it further in their particular generation. Compare the following verse in two translations:
“Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old” (Matt. 13:52).
“Then he added, “Those experts in Jewish law who are now my disciples have double treasures—from the Old Testament as well as from the New” (Matt. 13:52 — TLB)!
Although Jesus is drawing a comparison between the Jewish Law in the Old Testament and the fresh treasure in the New Testament, the principle is the same concerning moves of God and the progressive light God brings to His people throughout the generations that is to be passed on.

NOTE: Wigglesworth then saw a fourth and final wave that will be larger in scope and magnitude than the previous three put together. Glory to God! I believe this final move of God is what will reap the greatest harvest of souls ever and usher in the return of the Lord. I believe the beginnings of this move is at the door! Oh Hallelujah! Somebody shout!!!
