Well, this theme of death that I’ve been periodically posting about is not going away. There is still a pull on my spirit to write more on it. I think it’s because so many people, and even believers, are dealing with death among their friends, family, and loved ones. I have at least three, possibly more, friends and partners to our ministry that have been fighting for their lives in the last few months. Carolyn and I have prayed and made intercession for some of them, and thankfully they are improving. Sadly other friends did not recover and have since moved on to heaven.
But honestly, I have never before seen the amount of sickness, disease, and death that I’ve witnessed in this season. Obviously, there have been times in history where plagues and pandemics caused more deaths than humans are currently experiencing. But I have never personally observed the level I am seeing now. And I’m not just referring to Covid. Numerous other forms of sickness and disease seem to be running rampant. As I stated, never before have I had as many individuals and ministers within my personal circle of acquaintances stricken with disease and death.
The onslaught has been horrific. If death or suffering has touched your circle, as well, I am deeply sorry for your pain and loss.
THERE HAS DEFINITELY BEEN A SATANIC UNLEASHING
As our close friends know, we have personally had our own health challenges that the Lord mercifully delivered us from after a long hard battle. Due to a stroke that altered the chemistry in my brain I was one step away from being institutionalized, and Carolyn was was close to getting her leg amputated due to complications with reconstructive surgery to remove a sarcoma tumor from her leg. The dual attack was demonic in nature! So I’ve had reason to ponder the subject of disease and death for sometime now.
It seems to me that something has been supernaturally unleashed on the earth, spiritual in nature, that is producing this unprecedented level of disease and death. Let me be clear in saying that I do not believe all sickness and disease is directly caused by demonic activity, nor do I believe that all sickness is caused by sin in a person's life. I do believe, however, in a general way, that all sickness and disease originates from the curse of sin and the subsequent satanic activity.
In that regard, Satan is the source of all sickness and disease, even if caused by poor health habits, unforgiveness, and other sins. Jesus clearly demonstrated God‘s stance and attitude toward all sickness/disease and bondage by healing all who came to Him for healing and He always dealt with sickness and disease as an enemy. Here is one of my favorite power scriptures in the Bible:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38)
Disease and death are enemies of Christ and His kingdom. In His original plan God never intended for man to be ridden with sickness and disease, or to even to die. Satan is a thief and a taker. Jesus is a restorer and a giver.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “ (John 10:10)
Death did not originate with God yet every human dies. This is why one our greatest purposes in this life is to prepare people for the next life.
With the unleashing of global Satanic activity and gross darkness in the world, the time has never been more ripe in my lifetime for the greatest harvest in human history.
For the devil knows his time is short.
“Rejoice, O heavens! You citizens of heaven, rejoice! Be glad! But woe to you people of the world, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.”
(Revelation 12:12)
Let’s go get the harvest before all hell breaks loose and the night comes when no man can work.
