WHY MISSIONARIES QUIT

Nearly half of all missionaries pack up and come home before year five.
Not because God told them to leave. Not because of sin or a health crisis.
It’s because the money quietly ran out.
We've watched it happen over and over… good people, real callings, doing faithful work, who hit year three feeling the stress, year four feeling the pain, and year five facing a make-or-break moment they never saw coming.
Here's what breaks our heart about it: most of the time, it was preventable.
But we've also seen the other side.
The missionaries who make it past year five and keep going for decades. They don't have bigger faith. They don't have more training. They do five specific things… over and over again.
We pulled the research on this (a survey of 40,000 missionaries and 600 mission agencies), and the numbers are jarring.
